Bifidobacterium breve / Postbiotics Powder
Detailed information
Postbiotics are derived from the fermentation of qualified raw materials by lactic acid bacteria or probiotics, followed by inactivation of the resulting product. This process may include solid-liquid separation and optional drying treatments.
Bifidobacterium

Through the continuous exploration and experimentation by numerous experts and scholars, it has been confirmed that bifidobacteria is the most beneficial microbial group in the intestines. The reduction or even disappearance of bifidobacteria indicates an "unhealthy" state, serving as a barometer of human health. Bifidobacteria play a critical role in human health, representing a hallmark of well-being and offering various health benefits. Bifidobacteria appear in infants around 3 to 4 months of age, gradually increasing during childhood to peak at approximately 25% of the total intestinal microbiota. With aging, the quantity of bifidobacteria decreases annually, declining to below 7.9% in elderly individuals. Once short-chain bifidobacteria colonize and adhere to the intestines in infants and adults, they can enhance the activity of natural killer cells, increase cytokine expression levels, and promote immunoglobulin expression, thereby bolstering the immune system’s function. The intake of formulations containing short-chain bifidobacteria can stimulate the production of immunoglobulin A (IgA) and increase levels of cytokines such as interleukin-4 and interleukin-10, thereby exerting an immune-regulatory effect and improving mucosal immune competence in breastfed infants. Research indicates that the consumption of short-chain bifidobacteria can generate antimicrobial substances, reduce pathogen colonization levels, and enhance barrier functions as well as epithelial cell signaling modulation, thereby regulating both innate and adaptive immune responses to strengthen host immunity.
